The Spokesperson of FDC, Wafula Oguttu told a press conference in Kampala on Monday that the ruling National Resistance Movement is using EC to register non Ugandans.

Wafula alleged that the non Ugandans are picked from Tanzania, Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo and Burundi to register as Ugandan voters.

Kiggundu challenges Wafula and FDC in particular to prove the allegations or risk being dragged to court.

The chairperson of EC also dismisses reports that non Ugandans are transported into Uganda to register as Ugandan voters.

Kiggundu says the ongoing National Voter Registration exercise is not intended to facilitate rigging in favour of NRM as FDC puts it.
