Finance Ministry orders Indians to stop importing experts from India

In a bid to curb what looks like the Indian discrimination of Ugandan professionals, the director for economic affairs in the ministry of Finance, Lawrence Kiza has called upon Indians living in Uganda to train Ugandans with skills and stop importing Indian experts in Uganda.

Even if there are experts in Uganda, most Indians spend much money on bringing experts from India giving reasons that Ugandans have no skills. They don’t even recruit experts from Kenya, South Africa or Nigeria.

The Finance Director says Ugandans are bright people… all they need is training and they offer a great job. Kiza says all Indian investors must give Ugandans a chance to work freely and also encourage them to be committed to their work as the government as given Indians a chance to work in Uganda.
