Major Roland Kakooza Mutale has today excited residents of Mukono district when he joined the NRM candidate in Mukono North MP by-elections, Rev. Peter Bakaluba Mukasa.
Mutale, a special presidential advisor was seen by the area residents as he campaigned for Bakaluba. Bakaluba is running against Betty Nambooze of the Democratic Party among others. Mutale is not talking on Bakaluba’s rallies but he is only marching in villages with his band.
Bakaluba whose election victory was nullified by court recently over electoral malpractice is confident he will win the polls.
The elections are scheduled for May 25th, 2010. Bakaluba urges the people of Mukono to support him because he is the only one who knows their problems.
President Museveni is also expected to join Bakaluba’s campaigns soon.
