The parliamentary committee on local government and public service has this morning embarked on a tour of all KCCA projects

The MPs led by the chairperson Florence Kintu have unearthed shocking information about the two properties on plot 1 Sezibwa and plot 2 Mabua roads.

The MPs have discovered the house located along Mabua road that was meant to be the Mayor’s official residence is now turned into a store for impounded goods.

The impounded goods include hundreds of bicycles, paint, over 50 commuter taxis.

Meanwhile the Deputy Executive Director Judith Tukahirwa and the Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago have treated the MPs to free drama.

This after Tukahirwa attacked the mayor for not congratulating her upon her new appointment and for not notifying her of the MPs’ tour.

Lwukwago however hit back saying that he had also not been informed of her appointment, sending the two in a bitter exchange.
