Musicians Eddie Kenzo posponed Stamina concert

The bomb blasts that rocked Kampala on the July 11 have forced three musicians to call off their concerts and postpone them to late dates in September and December.
Daniel Kazibwe a.k.a Raga Dee, Amos Kigenyi a.k.a General Mega Dee and Eddie Kenzo have had to postpone their concerts to later dates. General Mega Dee’s concert was destined to take place on 16th July 2010 at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds the exact place where the bomb blasts took place and on the same date Raga Dee was set to have his concert at the KCC grounds a near venue to Kyadondo.

Raga Dee has told the press in Kampala that he has cancelled the concert because of the pity and empathy that he feels for the mass families that lost their loved ones in the recent bomb blasts.

He says the concert will now take place in December and Mega Dee says he hopes to have his concert in September.

Meanwhile the event organizer of the Eddie Kenzo concert whose concert that had been slated to take place on 23rd July, Balam Barugahare has also announced that the concert has been cancelled to a later date.

The Bomb blasts that left the Uganda country in ultimate shock, with 76 people so far confirmed dead from the bomb blasts that targeted two venues where people were watching the 2010 FIFA world cup finals between Netherlands and Spain.
