NRM MPs assured of free debate in Parliament despite caucus positions

Former Government Chief Whip Daudi Migereko assures Members of NRM Caucus of debating freely in the house but consider the Party position on the floor of Parliament as one way of avoiding divergent views on the agreed position.

Migereko who is now the Minister for Lands, Housing, and Urban Development was handing over the Chair of NRM Caucus to the new Government Chief Whip Eng John Nasasira at Parliament.

He said Members will express their views freely despite their party affiliation so long as they do not contradict themselves on the floor.

Migereko also request the members to always dialogue and come up with a harmonized position especially Members who have divergent views saying it will solve the so called Members who have been accused as being rebels.
