Parlaiment to probe Jenifer Musisi over fraud

News coming from Parliament of Uganda now shows that Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) officials led by Kampala Director Jeniffer Musisi are facing public accounts committee led by Terego MP Kasiano Wadri for accountability matters.

This comes after the Auditor General John Muwanga gave a qualified opinion that there are serious concerns to be answered by KCCA. The Parliamentary committee is not happy for Musisi’s poorly arranged and not even numbered documents. Ms Musisi has reportedly failed to provide the list of KCCA bad debtors as she is covering up some big wigs in government.

The committee of Parliament has ordered her to produce the list on Friday because it was discovered that KCCA has failed to collect revenues from several markets as a result of enforcement officers coniving with KCCA officials to pocket the money and report NO money collected.
