Two men who were hired to evict residents of Butabika in Kampala have been lynched today morning.

The Spokesperson of Police, Judith Nabakooba confirms the murder.

Police have taken the bodies to Mulago City Mortuary for postmortem check.    

Nabakooba says police have learnt that the area landlord identified as only Obbo, an officer at Luzira Prison hired the men.

The residents lynched the men after they demolished over four houses in the area. Police have arrested one person in connection with murder.
