U.S embassy asks Ugandans to riot against government

The United   States of America’s Embassy Cultural Affairs Officer, Lisa Larson has asked Ugandans to cause positive political change and also dismantle the dependency syndrome.

While speaking at the CEDA International Youth Engaged Program graduation ceremony in Kampala on Thursday, Larson said that opposition members when combined with the youth get the numbers and the energy needed to cause positive change.

The U.S cultural officer says Ugandans have the responsibility to cause positive political change because if they don’t do it, who will it for them?

Lisa Larson says it is up to Ugandans to define a vision of the future of Uganda the war president Museveni did in 1980s and that vision, whatever it may be, will shape the future of Uganda.
