The annual Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) badminton tournament opens on Friday in Kampala.
The event sponsored by UCC will run from Friday 23 to 25th April 2010 at Sharing Youth Centre Nsambya in Kampala.
The event organised by Uganda Badminton Association (UBA) has attracted about 350 players from across the country.
Uganda Communications Commission has injected 8.7 million shillings into the tournament.
The chairperson of UBA, Simon Mugabi confirmed reception of 8.7 million shillings from UCC. Mugabi says the tournament will feature both juniors and seniors. The winners will get several prices.
