Top Rwandan dissidents who Uganda recently granted refugee status have died and others mysteriously disappeared.

But reports in Kampala indicate that the Rwandan authorities collude with their counterparts in Kampala to kill, imprison and kidnap scores of others and take them back to Rwanda to face trial by the government there.

Reports further indicate that some of the dissidents believed to have been killed in Kampala include Charles Sande, a captain in Rwandan Defence Forces and Christopher Busigo, who was a pastor in Rwanda. Sources among the Rwandan refugees told us that many of them disappear under unknown circumstances.
