IPC sets deadline for DP to join coalition

The four opposition parties under their umbrella association of the Inter Party Cooperation (IPC) has written to the Democratic Party (DP) on their stand to join the coalition.
 
DP led by Nobert Mao is the only major opposition party yet to join the coalition.

The members of the coalition plan to front a joint presidential candidate to stand against President Yoweri Museveni of the National Resistance Movement in 2011 general elections.

The chairperson of the steering committee of IPC, Patrick Mwondha says that the cooperation has already sent a copy of the Joint Presidential Elections roadmap to DP and that DP has up to the end of May 30th to submit their decision on whether they will join the coalition or not.
