Uganda to hold National prayers on June 20th

 

 President Museveni has declared the 20th of June a national day of prayer and repentance. The prayers will be held at Kololo independence ground in Kampala city.

Minister for presidency, Beatrace Wabudeya

Reading the president’s speech, the minister in charge of presidency Beatrice Wabudeya says, God has blessed the country with many things but also there are notable things that have gone against the country’s expectations.

This is the 2nd time the country having a national day of prayer, the first was to thank the Lord for the oil discovered in the country.

Minister Wabudeya further asks Ugandans who may not be able to attend the prayers at Kololo to gather in places within their locations for the same.

Also speaking on behalf of the president, the minister for ethics and integrity Dr. James Nsaba Buturo says this is a time for all Ugandans from all walks of life to come together and pray for the country.
