Besigye urges Ugandans to back him for president

The President of Forum for Democratic Change (FDC), Col. Kiiza Besigye has urged Ugandans to support him become the president of Uganda in 2011 if they want to get out of poverty.

A news statement issued today by FDC says when Besigye wins 2011 presidential race his government will treat all Ugandans equally irrespective of area of origin, gender, religion and economic background.

Besigye urges every homestead in Uganda to engage in politics and support him to replace Museveni in 2011. President Museveni’s presidential term of office expires in 2011.

The President of FDC says if he wins elections, his government will fight corruption, tribalism and poverty directly from the grassroots level.

Besigye also urges Ugandans to support other opposition politicians to win 2011 elections at Local Councils, Parliamentary levels.
