Father of three held over wife’s murder

Police have today morning arrested a polygamous man identified as James Senoga, a resident of Nkungulutale in Wakiso district over the death of his wife Agnes Namara.

Senoga is in detention because police suspects he could have been behind the murder of his wife Namara on Friday last week. The residents of Nkungulutale have told journalists that late Namara was found in a pool of blood near Mpumudde Health Centre.

The main suspect in this murder has two wives. His second wife only identified as Maama Suzan is on the run because police wanted her to help it in its investigation.

There are allegations that Senoga could have murdered his wife after finding her with another man. The chairperson of the National Resistance Movement, Joseph Kyaterekera, who also doubles as the area LCI chairperson says Senoga has been promising to murder his wife over a long time.
