Kayihura said that concerts should be held in fenced areas where an enemy cannot manage to enter without passing through security checking process.

He said that concert organisers should ensure enough lights are put in place and metal detectors have to be used.

Kayihura told the comedians to always alert police whenever they are planning to have concerts in any area so that the police can provide security.

In presence were Bobi Wine, Ronald Mayinja and many others in the association known as event

Association of Uganda.

Kayihura said that churches and other places of worship should also ensure security for their worshipers by providing security checking equipment at entrances to places of worship.

Uganda is facing renewed terror threats from the al-shabab who claimed responsibility for the July 11 bomb attacks in Kampala that killed over 80 people. A bomb that was being transported to Uganda on Monday detonated and killed two people instantly, injuring more than 40 others.
