DiploFoundation’s 2011 online courses in Internet Governance (IG) and ICT are now open for applications

A call for applications for the 2011 global Internet Governance Capacity Building Programme (IGCBP) – including the separate programme for African-Caribbean-Pacific (ACP) countries – has been issued to representatives of variety of stakeholders involved in IG and ICT policy: governments, regional and global institutions, civil society, business, academia, media, and other interested individuals or groups.

The 12-week online foundation course, starting on 7 March 2011, is designed to improve IG-related knowledge and skills for participants and to assist them in participating in global decision-shaping debates on IG. This foundation course will be followed by the advanced courses in ICT and IG policy topics. The programme also facilitates community-building among individuals with different national, cultural, and professional backgrounds.
