The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) supporter and Chairperson elect Rubaga Division Joyce Sebugwawo has refuted police reports that she is training a stick wielding youth brigade.

While talking to the media at Christ the King church in Kampala, Sebugwawo said that she is a lover of peace therefore she cannot indulge in violence creation of training a private force.
She added that FDC party and herself are law-respecting persons who wish the country to be peaceful therefore the police report is outrageous and baseless.
The Police recently released a report about militia groups in Uganda with FDC and Sebugwawo particularly mentioned as being behind one of the over 9 militia groups.
All political parties including the ruling National Resistance Movement government have been alleged to have militia groups affiliated to them although all political parties have denied these allegations.
