Uganda opposition goes ahead with walk to work protests despite government warning

The opposition in Uganda has insisted on going ahead with the walk to work protests despite President Museveni’s warning that the government security organs will not allow any such protests.

Anne Mugisha, one of the officials of the Activists for Change that are organizing the walk to work protests says they will into be intimidated by the President’s warning.

She says different people have confirmed they will walk to work on Monday as part of their two day in a week planned walk to work protests against the high cost of living in Uganda.
