Erute North MP Charles Angiro denies allegations of inciting violence

The MP for Erute county north Charles Angiro Gutumoi has dismissed the media reports that he was summoned by the DPP and he refused to answer the charges.

Gutumoi while speaking to our reporter said that he was surprised by the reports because he has never received any summon. He says that its not even the DPP who is supposed to summon him.

Gutumoi even rubbished the allegations against him saying that they hold no water. He says that he is a senior citizen who cannot incite the public against security personnel.

Angiro says that what he said was in public therefore whoever has evidence that he incited the public should present the recordings.

It had been alleged that Angiro during the campaign told the people in his constituency to get pangas and spears and start killing the crime preventers in the area.
