President Yoweri Museveni has said that some media houses in the country are reporting unbalanced information to taint the image of the government.

While addressing journalists at his home in Rwakitura district, the President said that some media houses such as the Daily Monitor and her sister television NTV have been outrageous in reporting the walk to work protest stories.

He cited an example where the security personnel told the arrested rioters to lie down but the Daily Monitor published the photo on the website as dead people.

The President has asked the media houses to publish balanced information as the profession of journalism requires.
