Uganda government meets diplomatic mission over current protests and development

Government and heads of diplomatic missions in Uganda have held a closed meeting where a number of resolutions have been agreed upon.

The meeting discussed the current situation in the country including the demonstrations by the opposition over the high commodity prices.

State minister for foreign affairs, Okello Oryem, says they agreed that the government continues to use diplomatic means in solving internal problems and also deal with errant officers of government security organs.

Security minister, Amama Mbabazi who also attended the meeting confirms that govt showed diplomats the video earlier shown to legislators about the arrest of FDC leader Dr.Besigye.
