The members of the 9th parliament have been asked to support policies that will drive the country to becoming a leader in export of goods and services.
The Member of Parliament Kalungu east Vincent Bamulanzeki Sempija says that will help the country eradicate the poverty in the rural area and also widen local market jobs.
He added the 9th parliament should also focus on fighting corruption in the public sector.
Meanwhile the State Minister for Tourism Industry Kahinda Otafire says the major challenge the NRM party has faced for the last 25 years is the problem of fighting poverty.
He says the poverty being the pivot cause of many declines in the commercial markets of the country.
