East Africa jobs to be accessed on Information Centre website

The East African Information centre  (EAIC) in Kampala has urged the unemployed Ugandans  to seek for jobs which are available in East Africa  and in other non East African  countries through  its website www.eainfocentre-gov.org

The organising secretary of the East African Information centre Flavia Nawenja told journalists in Kampala that people should forward their CVs on this website and the jobs related to their qualifications are forwarded to them free of charge.

She said that this initiative is a solution to Uganda’s challenge of unemployment since Uganda has the highest unemployment in the sub-Saharan Africa.

T he State of Uganda Population report released by the Population Secretariat 2010 indicted that Uganda’s unemployment rate is at 23% and about 4.37 million people are jobless.
