Bukenya last appeared in parliament on the day for election of speaker of parliament but snubbed the approval of vice president, prime minister and state of nation address by Museveni yesterday.

Bukenya who was handing over office to his successor Edward Ssekandi says his disappearance is due to health problems his mother is facing these days.

He says his mother whom he described as the most beautiful and important thing on this earth is sick suffering from stroke and therefore he is currently nursing her, the reason he is missing on other functions.
