Kampala to get 10 ambulances from the government

The Government is to procure 10 Ambulances for Kampala to help in providing emergence health services in the city and improve on the health service delivery to the people.

This was disclosed by the Acting permanent secretary in the ministry of health Dr.Assuman Lukwago.

Lukwago said that the ambulance provision programme fund for Kampala will be secured from the African Development Bank 80 million dollar loan funding to the health sector.

He said that this programme is intended to decongest mulago hospital patient rate.

He said that in future the Ambulances in Kampala will have code numbers used by the people in need of them to access them 24 hours.
