Police holding thugs who robbed Uganda Pentecostal University students

Police in Fort Portal are holding a gang of five armed robbers on charges of illegal position of fire arms and theft.

The five have been identifies as Robert Nyakahuma, Bright Joseph, Ronald Baguma, Felix Rugonjo and Jackson Atugonza all residents of fort portal municipality aged between 29 and 40.

Richard Muhumuza the GISO West division Fort Portal municipality says the suspects broke into three houses rented by the students of Uganda Pentecostal University Kahungabunyonyi campus and robbed them of their house property worth millions of shillings over the week end.

Muhumuza explains that the five were arrested from their hideouts in Rwengoma with the help of a police sniffer dog that guided the police.
