Uganda Minister Musa Encweru warns neighbours against pursing refugees

The Government of Uganda has sounded a strong warning to her neighbours against pursuing the refugees who were resettled in Uganda after running away from their home countries.

The state minister for disaster preparedness Musa Ecweru has emphasized that no country is allowed to take back refugees who are in Uganda without the approval of Government.

This was while addressing the country on International Refugee says celebrations at Old Kampala grounds.

Ecweru says there are some countries that are allegedly pursuing their people from Uganda by force and yet some of them end up being summoned.

He notes that the government is making fundamental strategies to support the refugees in vocational training.
