Uganda wins in international youth achievers competition

Uganda managed to come second in the international youth achievers competition which attracted over 120 youth from 120 countries across the world. The competitions focused on curtailing child abuse.

Uganda’s representative in the international youth achievers competition which were held in Nairobi  Kenya ,Vincent Nsubuga won a silver medal after he become second  in the contest  which was won by  a youth from Canada.

Vicent Nsubuga who is a student of Uganda Martyrs High school in Lubaga in senior five, aged 18 years become second after he presented a paper on child abuse in this competition. Nsubuga handed the medal from the prime minister of Kenya Raila Odinga who was the chief guest.

Speaking to journalists at his arrival at Entebbe Airport, Nsubuga said that he performed better in the competition because he took time to research on child abuse especially on rampant sex abuse against girls in Uganda.

He asked government to put in place measures that will stop child abuse in Uganda.
