Kadaga’s Concern followed the complaints raised by Parliamentary Female staff under their umbrella body Parliamentary Staff Women Forum (PSWF) who had paid a courtesy call to her office to congratulate her upon achieving the highest office of Speakership as the first Woman in the history of Uganda.

The Delegation of Women Staff was led by the Human Resource Manager of Parliament Ms Victoria Kaddu requested the Speaker to look into their demands for a smooth working relationship.

Kadaga said she is overwhelmed by the support extended to her by Women of Uganda since achieving the office of the Speaker and promised she will ensure women’s issues are addressed.
