President Yoweri Museveni ask legislators to sensitize Ugandans on profitable enterprises

President Yoweri Museveni has asked the members of the 9th parliament to sensitize the population on profitable enterprises to be undertaken in their respective zones throughout the country in order to boost homestead incomes.
The president who is also the Chairman of the National Resistance Movement was on Wednesday closing the three day retreat at state house Entebbe organized for NRM concuss MPS.

The closing ceremony was presided by presentations on viable enterprises to undertake the 17
zones covering the whole country.
The legislatures commenced their retreat on Sunday 17th July 2011 by touring modal farmers in Kiruhura, and Masaka districts.

President Yoweri Museveni was delighted to note that the members of the august house had taken keen interest in the subject of social economic transformation in Uganda and it was a clear sign that they were now on board on the NRM strategy of transforming the society to modernity.
The president encouraged the fight of the wrong attitude that they all identified in all their presentations by intensifying the sensitization drive that will cause change of people’s mind set.

He advised MPS to use radio stations instead of allowing media houses to engage the youth in unproductive talk show programs.
