The committee probing the alleged financial mismanagement in Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) has asked for extension of investigation period to come out with a comprehensive report.
The Tourism Minister, Ephraim Kamuntu gave the committee July 18th to have finished the probe but the committee says it wants more 3 months.
The committee chairman, George Kanyeihamba has therefore asked President Museveni to direct the minister to give the committee more time if a full report is to be issued.
A commissioner on the committee, Nsamba Bukenya says that there are many areas they have not visited and more UWA officials are not yet investigated.
