Uganda Police arrests notorious thugs

Police is holding 37 suspected notorious motor vehicle and Boda-Boda thieves from 13 districts that have been terrorizing the public in the last month of July.

Police spokesperson Judith Nabakooba explains that the suspects have been using different tactics and equipments including guns, hammers and iron bars to hit the victims and latter on go away with their properties.

The operation was carried out in Kampala, Mpigi, Kiryandongo, Rakai, Mbarara among others and among the many things that have been recovered include 7 motor vehicles, 33 boda-boda (Bajaj Boxer) 87 forged log books, six harmers among others.

Nabkooba has called on the public to be conscious with the people who they take in their vehicles and boda-boda because these turn to be thugs who put their lives in danger.
