The management of Uganda Super League has signed an agreement with Bell Uganda for the latter to sponsor the Uganda Super league for three years.

Bell Uganda, which is part of East Africa Breweries, is one of the giant brewery companies in Uganda.

According to the Bell Uganda Chairman, Allan Kanabi about 700 million shillings will be injected in the league annually.

He adds that the league will be renamed as Bell Uganda Super League as one of the conditions in the agreement.

Kanabi says that boosting sports in Uganda is one reason the brewery company has offered to sponsor the league.

The Uganda Super League board chairman Kavuma Kabenge, says that the money acquired will be used to help the League’s member clubs improve their football.
