MPs insist Mabira should not be given away

Although the the debate on Mabira forest crusade has been today blocked in parliament some Mps are insisting attention should be given to the planned give away of Mabira forest.

Members of parliament including Lubaga south MP John Ken Lukyamuzi are demanding that the house takes its stand matter before it is too late as they discuss the report from the natural resources committee.

However Kumi county MP Patrick Amuriate says instead of further degrading the forest government should focus on replanting trees in the degraded place if any.

He called the embers of the public to stand and oppose any move intended to promote individuals interests over masses and the environment.
