MPs continue to push for censure of Amama Mbabazi, Sam Kutesa and Hillary Onek

Members of parliament have today intensified their move to ensure that the three ministers named in the controversial Oil bribes are removed from office.

This move is as a result of a resolution of parliament on Tuesday in which the MPs ordered the implicated ministers out of office to pave way for investigations.

Sources at parliament  told  us that the MPs have since taken the matters higher by writing to the clerk to parliament where they reportedly lodged their notice of intention to move a censor motion against the defiant ministers.

This motion of censure according to sources is spearheaded by three MPs including Burahya County MP Stephen Kagwera Kasaija who is according to sources lined up to censure internal affairs minister Hillary Onek, Butaleja woman MP Cerina Nebanda to censor Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi while Ibanda woman MP Margret Kiboijana will handle foreign affairs minister Sam Kutesa.
When contacted at parliament Kagwera declined to give details but confirmed that he had information about a censure motion plot that had been forwarded to the clerk’s office demanding the ministers to resign within three days before the MPs can invoke article 118 of censure against them.

The ministers under threat include Amama Mbabazi, Sam Kutesa and Hillary Onek.
