Uganda to supply sports kits to Guinea

It seems all is not lost for Uganda after losing chance to take part in the African Cup of Nations. It has been confirmed that David Katumwa, a Ugandan and proprietor of Katumwa Sports Centre has been contracted to supply the kits to Equatorial Guinea at the cost of $4m.

The managers of African football selected Katumwa through his other business entity, Cobra International based in Yokoshima.

Guinea will host the African Cup of Nations in 2012.

According to pals who are well conversant with the agreement Katumwa has signed, the Ugandan will supply gym equipments, goalposts nets, and flags among others.
