Although some people in town call him a ‘conman,’ because of his money loaded pockets whose source is not known, Mukasa Fred Mbidde is a man who wants to gain more credible credentials.

He is now undertaking masters of laws at Makerere University. Our reporters have established that Mbidde is undertaking the following course units: Corporate finance law, Legal control of natural resources, the law of treaties, environmental law and policy, international and regional human rights.

Mbidde according to our sources was admitted on the course during the academic year 2011/12. He brags that after his masters degree he will study PhD.

We have over heard him telling his pals that the reasons why he is doing LLM is to increase on the trust of his clients of Mbidde and Company advocates who themselves are multinational in nature.

Being a senior partner, the instruction available to his law firm require further incite to the rhyme of corporate financing and natural resource governance in Uganda.

Then finally Mbidde is currently deeply engaged in cross boader litigation having cases pending in the EAC court of justice and one about to be taken to the African court on humans and people’s rights.

Sources say that the study of masters in laws degree will create more comfort with him in terms of handling the above. We hope Mbidde is not eyeing the presidency!
