Ms Rebecca Nalwanga, the former NRM parliamentary candidate in Luweero district woman MP race who lost to DP’s Brenda Nabukenya says that she will fight until Nabukenya is removed from house.

She says that she has collected enough evidence to prove that the polls were rigged in favour of the DP candidate, an allegation Nabukenya denies.

She has informed our informers that the initial counting of the ballots after the by elections indicated that she was in the lead but she got shocked when the electoral commission announced Nabukenya as the winner.

Ms Nalwanga thanked all her voters and promised that she will soon tell them officially about her second step. She says that she consulted the NRM secretariat for legal advice before she finally came out with the decision to challenge Nabukenya’s elections in court.
