Police vows to revenge Ariongo’s death

It seems the spirit of revenge, an eye for an eye, tooth for tooth, murder for murder and violence is growing in Uganda. It is no longer shocking in Uganda to hear or read stories of people killing others in revenge. So and so killed my dad so I killed him/her. Some people poison others in revenge for the mistakes the victims might have caused to them.

The Police is supposed to keep law and order. However the Inspector General Police, Lt. Col. Kale Kayihura says the death of police constable John Bosco Ariong will not deter his force to revenge and clampdown on acts of hooliganism.

Kayihura blamed the death of the police officer John Bosco Ariongo on the acts of opposition politicians. But some people in Uganda also allege that Ariongo might have been sacrificed in order for government to justify why it clampdown rallies by members of opposition.
