Risks associated with chicken broilers

Billions of people around the world love to consume chicken. But today our media team has decided to bring to you the risks associated with consuming chicken broilers.

Chicken world over is considered a white meat and therefore healthier than red meat which is high in fats content. Nonetheless chicken is thought to be healthier when its indigenous [local].

Local chickens feed on organic foods and grow naturally. On the other hand, broilers are hardly exposed to sunlight, barely feed on greens and are fed on growth boosters.

Hence broilers contain a lot of fats, which have a lot of cholesterol.  It is advised that if u can’t have local chicken, grill that fatty broiler to reduce de amount of fats. However people with high cholesterol levels should steer clear of broilers.
