Museveni summons Kayihura over NRM’s loss of Bukoto South elections

President Museveni on returning back from UK where he has been on an official visit with his wife, Janet Museveni has started business with summoning the inspector general of police, Kale Kayihura to brief him what transpired in Bukoto South and led NRM to lose the parliamentary by elections to DP’s Mathias Nsubuga.

The sources privy to statehouse information told our reporters that Museveni had many interests in Bukoto South elections because the polls were not only between NRM’s Alintuma Nsambu and DP’s Nsubuga but the Kabaka of Buganda vs Museveni as a person. Before he left for England, sources say that Museveni had instructed Kayihura to manage security well and his blue eyed NRM cadres led by Madam Aisha Kabanda and Luweero district LC5 chairman, Abdul Naduli works on ensuring that the NRM candidate wins the polls.

The same sources also tell us that Hajji Naduli, Aisha Kabanda, and all the NRM cadres who were assigned to seek election victory for NRM in Bukoto South have been summoned to attend this meeting slated to sit on Saturday in Entebbe. Efforts to get a comment from Kayihura were futile. But one of the LC5 chairpersons who were key in wooing voters in Bukoto south to vote for Alintuma Nsambu told us that the meeting will also decide whether Nsambu challenges his election loss.
