How to detect government is tapping your phone

Many countries across the world including Uganda tap peoples’ phones for security reasons.
Uganda government taps phones of Ugandans they suspect to be against president Museveni’s government.
There are two types of phone taps carried out in Uganda: Trap and trace.
In this one the state orders telecommunication companies to produce a log showing what numbers were called, and the dates, times and durations of the calls.
The second type is intercepts the content of the call. There are thousands of trap and trace interceptions vs hundreds of content interceptions each year.
One may argue that it is one of the reasons why government wants every single line positively identified to some one’s name, though not registering may not be a good decision you can think of, don’t be intimidated they may have an easier task in tracing their taps but there is always a solution to any thing.
