FIFA summons FUFA over forming parallel football association

The ‘crazy’ Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) leaders are at it again after being cautioned by the FIFA Development Officer, Ashford Mamelodi over forming parallel football associations to manage Uganda soccer.

Mamelodi and FIFA in general are bitter that FUFA under its president Lawrence Mulindwa have gone ahead and created FUFA PREMIER LEAGUE LTD to run the League yet there is Uganda Super League Limited (USL).

Remember USL is controlled by the FOOTBALL Clubs in Uganda and this new ‘thing’ (read new association) is by FUFA. Sources against the formation of new FUFA say that FUFA had for the last four years failed to manage the super League with scandal after scandal many in favour of Bunamwaya FC. Mulindwa is one of the directors of Bunnamwaya FC.

After USL raised its portfolio to slightly over 16 Billion shillings last season now the gluttonous vultures at FUFA are moving in to share the money reportedly by forming a new league association.
