Bidandi demands ush1bn for treatment and his son Bebe Cool demands ush2.9b compensation

The self claimed big weight city musician, Bebe Cool was last year given 247 million Uganda shillings by the government for treatment in USA over the bullets a policeman shot him while the singer was walking out of a Kampala club.

But now he wants another 2.9 billions shillings from the same president Museveni’s government as compensation for the bullets, claiming that the 247 million shillings were a personal gift from his friend president Museven.

However many people in East African country Uganda wonder whether that first batch of the money really came from president Museveni.

Bebe Cool, whom some Ugandans refer to as ‘Kataala’ after a song by his ‘enemy’ ‘His Excellence Bobi Wine’ dubbed ‘Kataala,’ is demanding for the money at a time when even his blood father, Bidandi Sdali is also demanding money from the government for the treatment he went through last month.

But if we are to ask, is this family being fair to poor Ugandans who are dying and can’t even afford panadol tablets. Ugandans want Bidandi and his son to call for good hospitals and medications in Uganda instead of pressuring the government to give them money for personal benefits.
The Bidandi Sali’s family forgets about those Ugandans shot by Museven’s police and military agents’ day and nights on the streets of Kampala while advocating for peoples rights.
