Our readers what you have to know is that vitiligo has nothing to do with the traditional thinking of the spirits of twins burning peoples faces.

The causes of vitiligo are many but in this article we shall mention a few of them:

An autoimmune disorder is a condition that occurs when the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks and destroys healthy tissue. The cells are forced to produce melanin (the natural substance that give colour (pigment) to the skin are destroyed.

Such conditions leads to hyper pigmentation hence causing vitiligo- Families with links of vitiligo can also be inherited from family members and this means if one’s forefather experienced it, there is about 10% that their descendants will have it.
