Ugandans urged to respect and protect constitution

The minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, Maj. Gen. Kahinda Otafire has tasked Ugandan’s to uphold the constitution as a way of promoting good governance in the country.

Otafire explains that abiding by the constitution can promote prosperity and nation building.

He says they have organized a public gathering at the high court on Monday next week as they mark the 17th anniversary of the 1995 constitution.

Otafire says it is the duty of every Uganda to abide by the constitution and ensure its provisions are upheld.
