Government asked to ghost teachers

The probe Commission investigating mismanagement of UPE and USE funds has recommended sanctions against all officials responsible for creating ghosts in the system.

The recommendation is contained in a report which has been handed over to the president today at Nakasero state house.

Several stakeholders including parliament had for some time tasked the commission to explain its delay in releasing the report.

However Handing over the report to the president the commission’s , Chairman Justice Ezekiel Muhanguzi, said all head-teachers, District Education Officers, Inspectors of Schools, and Public Service payroll managers, both at district and central levels, where mismanagement was reported should be brought to book.
