Uganda Cranes players confident of win against Zambia

Ugandan midfielder Tonny Mawejje says the Cranes are concentrating on winning this Saturday’s crucial Nations Cup qualifier against Zambia in normal time.

The Cranes face Zambia in the 2013 Nations Cup must-win qualifier at Namboole needing to win by a two-goal margin to make the finals in South Africa next year.

But a 1-0 victory for the Cranes in normal time would see the tie decided on spot-kicks.

Mawejje, who plays his club football with Iceland Premier League side IBV, also believes they must be efficient if they are to overcome the African champions.

Uganda trails Zambia 1-0 and needs to win with a margin of 2 goals if they are to qualify for the 2013 Afcon finals in South Africa.
