Government asked to stock hospitals and health centers with drugs

The Member of Parliament for Samia Bugwe North in Busia district Julius maganda has demanded government to stock hospitals with drugs as it used to be at the beginning of the Uganda’s independence.

Maganda told journalists at parliament that from 1963 to 1973 the hospitals used to be with drugs to cater for all the people including the poor.

He said that today there hospitals but it has few health workers and drug stock out.

He said that the first 15 years of Uganda independence Uganda was better off compared today.

Maganda said that Uganda education system needs reform so as students do not read only to pass examinations.
